Skipper Mark Taylor equalled the great Don Bradman's then highest ever Australian score of 334 made in 1930 against England at the end of the second day. He then declared his side innings closed at 5994 overnight with his own score 334 not out 564 balls with 32 fours and a six. Justin Langer made his maiden test century 116. The match was drawn after Pakistan made 5809 declared to which Australia closed the test at 2895 in their second innings. The joint BradmanTaylor record was overtaken by Matt Hayden who scored 380 not out. 2nd Test Arbab Niaz Stadium Peshawar 15 Oct 1998.
