Let us hope they come on better with each game. The loss against the Lions should be a wake up call. As Croft said the WI don't need a coach, but a psycho. They need the confidence to believe they can do it.
Some interesting stats ..... Shiv will be appearing at Lords as the ICC #1 ranked batsman .... and the 10th batsman to join the 10K club ... He will also be the 5th opposition batsman in history to play 5 tests at Lords.... the others were Gavaskar, Border, Lloyd and Sobers.... Sobers scored the most runs by an opposition batsman at Lords .. Sobers 571 followed by Bradman 551 Tiger has 334 runs .... needs 238 to surpass Sobers as the highest runs scorer at Lords. Stats
Looks like Ottis is going to go for the 4-prong attack .... see here Since when is Sammy a paceman ?? ::lol::
Shillingford had better watch his action as I saw signs of the chuck against the Aussies!
I rally don't care for Opisility...however he is right on this one...talking 4-prong pace attack. It would have been great to have Rochie, Fidel, Ravi and Gabriel...however we have a noted wicket taker in Sammy. And we calso have the option of SAmuels and Deo. Not bad at all. Batting stacks up nicely too. AB, Powell, Kirk, DB, Samuels/Deo, Shiv, Ramdin, Roachie, Fidel Sammy and Ravi.
Well it does not take a genius to figure out the bowling combination for Lords or any other established venues. Lords also takes spin. It is unlikely both Deo and Samuels will play and shame Fudadin will not play.
